Packing for general fittings use - Type 743
Through the development of expanded pure graphite, DEPAC is even able to offer improvements over pre-pressed graphite rings today. Although the pre-pressed rings used in particular in power stations allowed good sealing possibilities, especially in the fittings area, they necessitated complex ordering and stock-keeping on the part of the operator, since special rings had to be ordered for each internal and external diameter.
With the same or even better sealing conditions, the type 743 offers the possibility, like conventional packings, of sold-by-the-kilo goods for various cross-sections and thus significantly more cost-effective operating conditions.
