REMET Bandage – Type 402
The type 402 is a polymer composite material pre-applied to a bandage. It is an entirely new type of repair system, ideal as an emergency repair for cracked or leaking pipelines - and can be used on almost all materials: metal, plastic, wood, glass, glass fibre reinforced polyester and much more besides.
After tearing open the packaging, the bandage is placed on the damaged point and cured by the effect of water. After 30 minutes the repaired point is fully loadable.
