Packing that renders the re-packing of fittings superfluous - Type 714
The type 714 is manufactured from chemically resistant PTFE silk fibres, allowing valves, gates, covers, mixers, agitators, dryers, filters, etc. to be permanently sealed for almost all ranges of applications. Conventional packings lose volume due to the pressing out of lubricants and therefore have to be retightened and ultimately repacked.
Since the DEPAC type 714 requires no additional lubricant in order to remain slippery and elastic, there also can be no loss of volume, no creeping, no pressing out of lubricants and no hardening of carrier materials. This packing will therefore seal for the lifetime of your fitting.
